AnOmali Italian illustration competition

These are my entries for the AnOmali illustration competition, the theme is Aqua Terme (Burning water), quite a tricky one... I decided to make prints based on Absinthe!

I made this book for my Diploma project, its based on a simple zoom idea I had when doodling. I made the images using block prints and typeset the text in the letterpress studio - time consuming but fun!

Pages from my counting book

This is another variation on the I See theme, again using block prints and hand printed letterpress type. I am planning to create a series of these board books. Not sure if this will stay black and white?

Bologna 2013

I had a brilliant week at the Bologna Children's Book Fair this year. I was lucky to have my work represented on the Cambridge School of Art stand and I also had lots of meetings with publishers. What an amazing experience!

Toothpick Illustration exhibition

I took part in this exhibition last week at St. Margarets, St Benedicts Street, Norwich. There were 12 illustrators in all, it was a great success and a lot of fun. Hoping to do another show soon...

New monoprints
